Jo has been doing yoga for the past ten years, but it wasn’t until she was diagnosed with a chronic condition known as postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTS) 5 years ago that she became dedicated to her practice. She has witnessed first hand how mindfully combining movement with the breath has helped manage her symptoms.

Jo teaches public classes in the evenings, and also offers 1-to-1 private classes, either in the comfort of your own home, or in her dedicated yoga room. Sessions are tailored for those living with conditions such as arthritis, hyperextension (due to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, for example), autonomic disorders, or insomnia, depression and anxiety. Through customised classes accessible to people living with these conditions, you will be able to maintain a regular practice, and feel the benefits yoga can bring.

Jo is a 200 hour yoga teacher certified and insured through Yoga Alliance UK. In 2018 Jo completed an additional 25 hour teacher training in Lotus Flow from Laughing Lotus New York. In 2019 Jo become a Buti Yoga and DEEP by Buti instructor (a total of 50 hours training). In 2020 she completed hot yoga training. Jo has also completed a teacher training with Dr. Ann Bortz on Mindful, Train-Informed Yoga.

Available for classes in the evenings and weekends in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. Private classes are valued at £45 for 60 minutes, and are suitable for beginners and those who have experienced yoga previously. Please message to discuss your needs and book private classes.
